So basically the other day I saw the sound of music theater production downtown and it was awesome. I kinda based the costume off a sailor theme and the costume the von trapp boys had in the musical (I dig that 1940s stuff). For something inspired by a show so awesome .... I guess it's not that great.
It also seem that half the time I try to draw boy characters I end up with tomboyish girls..... oh well I like her. I like her tho I'll have to give her a name and future illustrations.
For the actual illustration, other than the fact that I like it is that it has alot of short comings probably due to the way I did it. I mean I sketched, scanned it printed it, inked it, scanned it removed pencil marks in photoshop, printed it again and then coloured it touching up the printed ink with the brush pen again -_-. I prolly shouldn't have been so rushed with the clean up and inking parts.... oh well.
Also you can barely see the shading I did on the white clothes cause of the scan I had to turn the saturation way up and now shes a bunch more tan then she is on paper but oh well I've talked to much.. Enjoy.
